We were introduced recently to the Artistry Colour make-up line from Amway. Aren’t we glad … any girl can’t possibly resist the lure of make-up, and more make-up. Not that there’s anything wrong with our looks, but their brushes, lipstick and mascara is now neatly stashed in our make-up bag.

What’s good is that Artistry Colour promises to be closest to what’s natural. “Make-up is not meant to create the illusion that women are gorgeous, but to bring out their inherent and distinct beauty. They are not supposed to function as masks, but to bring out what’s already there.” Good point.

Got an email from a friend about the promotion in the new online shopping site Handbag Planet. Being the bag fiend, I clicked on the link which brought me to their user-friendly site. Don’t know if it’s real, but they  promised to give “a handbag every hour for 24 hours on the day of the launch” which is October 15, 2008.  All you have to do is give your first name , your email address as well as the email addys  of your closest friends. I did what they asked me to do and that’s why am writing this blog post too Now I guess I’ll just wait for the bag I chose…it’s a dainty black and white zebra printed hobo. The good thing is, it’s free, including the shipping and handling!

 The bags look rockin.’ Their line-up is”inspired by popular designer brands and are priced between $30 and $80.” Let’s wait and see!

We heart the new line of fuzzy Crocs with fleece lining to keep you warm. It’s called the Disney Princess Mammoth in dainty pink color. Other similar styles in this range are the Hannah Montana Mammoth, the Cotton Candy Nanook, and the super comfy fuzzy boots for little girls

Would love to buy my little angels these for Christmas, if only they carry these in the local stores. Heads-up, anyone?

I used to think that Crocs are an acquired taste, as I prefer to slip on my high heels and shoe laces. But I have to agree, the Crocs design is really comfy and functional. Not to mention, their classic anti-slip features are  ideal for hyperactive kids. Now I believe there really are two kinds of shoe-wearers: the fashionable ones who prefer to suffer in their stiletto just to look good, and the practical ones who are most at home in their Crocs. Bring it on!

Yay! I haven’t been done with my knee-high boots obsession yet and now, “shooties” are all the rage. For those not-so-familiar with the word, it’s what fashiondom has christened to those new line of shoes that just reach up the ankles; what you’d call a half-shoe and half-boot. Looks great on skinny jeans, if I may say, or long skirts!

Christmas is in the air. We know it because the beginning of the “ber” months has arrived. I like it because our not-so-fat bonuses are just around the corner (*chuckles) and so is loads of shopping! While we agree that choosing gifts during the Christmas season can be a horrific experience because of the crowds, we do advise to do it this early to take advantage of the great sales going on.
